The Intensive is an eight-month-long intentional community of artists at Christ Church. The aim of the Intensive is to see artists of all mediums grow in spiritual and artistic maturity, and in their pursuit of excellence, both as artists and as followers of Christ.

Who Should Apply?

The Faith&Arts Intensive is for adults who are serious about their craft and want to pursue a deeper understanding of what it means to be an artist who follows Christ in this world. You should have a desire to grow, both in your medium and in your vocational life, within a like-minded and committed community. We’ll explore questions such as:

• What does it mean to be fully human, yet made in the image of a Creator God?
• How can I live into the calling that God has placed on my life as an artist and a Christian, in an integrated and holistic way – and why does it matter?
• Do we, as art-makers, make “art for art’s sake”, or do we have a larger purpose?

The Faith&Arts Intensive will meet on the following Saturdays this year:

  • Sept 21
  • Oct 19
  • Nov 16
  • Dec 14
  • Jan 25
  • Feb 22
  • March 28
  • April 25

Gatherings are from 8:30am-12:00pm and breakfast is provided. Space is limited, and participants are asked to commit to regular attendance.

The application deadline is Sept 13.  For more details, download the brochure here. If you’re ready to apply, contact us and we’ll send an application your way.
